Welcome to the 2026 Arkipelago Fair in Umeå!
This year’s fair focuses on Limitless Architecture, to create a new generation of inclusive design. With the current economical situation in the world and the continuing worries about our climate, our world is quickly changing. For the better? For the worse? How will the architectural profession change? What has changed over the last years?
Studying architecture can be a tough road for many, with a lot of freedom and responsibility,
throughout your career you will ask yourself the question;
What kind of architect do I want to be?
Throughout the Arkipelago fair we hope that you’ll start to find answers and motivation. Take this time and opportunity to meet our exhibitors, participate in discussions and establish new relationships with inspiring people.
The Arkipelago fair is meant to be enjoyed by all, but it is mainly hosted as an important link
between you, the students, and the professional world. During this day, you will see the result
of cooperation and hard work from your peers, who have put time aside to create an experience that you can hold onto when you feel lost or unmotivated.
